Objective

Keep your towers standing while trying to knock down all the other players towers. Last tower standing wins!

What Each Part of the Game Does

Special and Regular Towers: Has no special purpose, but you have to have at least one of your towers (regular or special) to win the game.

Death Tower (black tower with logo): This tower is placed in the center of the game. If you knock it over while throwing the ball, then all your towers are removed from the game and you lose. The death tower is set back up and other players continue playing (for 8-player Blitz)

Ball: The ball is thrown to knock over other players’ towers.

4-Player Setup

Place the death tower in the center. Set the special tower of each of the two colors on each side of the death tower.

Mark a boundary 21 feet from the line of towers using extra cones

Create an invisible boundary using shoes, twigs, drawing a line, or anything else you can find. Be creative.

Game Play

4-Player Blitz:

Two players form a team and stand opposite each other. Opponents' stand next to each other on both throwing lines.

Someone shouts “Blitz” and players start throwing their ball, trying to knock over the opponents’ towers

Players must stand behind the line before throwing; however, players can run anywhere to get a ball.

First team to knock over all four of their opponents’ towers, wins the game!

If either team knocks over the death tower, they lose the round

Players can try to defend

8-Player Blitz:

Two players form a team and stand opposite each other. There are two players at each of the four sections.

Players must stand behind the line before throwing; however, players can run anywhere to get a ball.

The last team to have at least one tower standing, wins

If any team knocks over the death tower, they remove their towers from the game, the death tower is put back up, and play resumes

Winning the Game

First team to win 5 rounds, wins (feel free to change the number played to based on how much time you have)

Clarifications

Can I defend my towers, or try and block a throw?

Yes, you can! You can block, but not kick or throw out of play.

What if I knock over someone's tower, but then it stands back up?

This is the worst! But if the tower is standing, it is still in play. Your opponent must have something lucky they are wearing!

Can I knock down multiple towers in the same throw?

Yes, you can! If you knock over two at a time, we call it "the Doble" (pronounced doh-blay).

What if I knock over my last tower and an opponent’s last tower in the same throw?

You lose, and your opponent wins. .

What if there are only two players left and I knock down my opponents last tower and the death tower in the same throw?

You lose! Any time you knock over the death tower, you lose!

So, then what if I knock over any opponents' tower and the death tower and it isn't their last tower?

You still lose and are out of the game, but your opponent's tower is still out of the game.
